A remarkable display of airglow accompanies the Milky Way over Grand Prismatic Spring in Yellowstone National Park. The June night I spent here, with the entire boardwalk to myself, may be the best time I've had in our oldest national park. It was an inspiring few hours when, without the throngs of people so often associated with this geothermal feature, I better understood why Yellowstone is also called "Wonderland."
