An original threshing machine sits on a knob in the prairie in southern Montana. These were built in the 1920s and 30s and used to separate grain from chaff, just as their modern descendants, the combines, do. This star trails shoot is the combination of 822 images, each 45 seconds long. It's offered here at 16x20 in a contemporary curved black frame with a creamy outer mat and narrow, black inner mat. Other sizes and options are also possible.
