On a sub-zero morning, a huge bull bison plows through the frigid waters of Soda Butte Creek in Yellowstone National Park. Well equipped to handle these conditions, rather than struggling up a steep bank through more than three feet of snow, he waded upstream more than a half a mile to find an easier place to exit the water.
