Park Avenue, in Arches National Park, is one of the most iconic sandstone vistas in America. These giant pillars of rock rise up from the desert in a show of lasting perseverance that truly has to be seen to appreciate. While they world around them erodes away, lost to sporadic rain and wind, they endure.
This was a challenging shoot requiring dozens of tracked and untracked exposures over the course on an entire June night. Using a 70mm lens, I was able to capture our home galaxy bending across the universe above these beautiful rocks.
I'm offering this at 23x50 inches, though it contains enough resolution to print billboard size. Other sizes are available upon request.
