White birch, also known as paper birch for their shaggy bark, glow in the deep woods of Northern Vermont during fall. I love late autumn when the canopy of leaves begins to fall and colors change closer to the ground - not to the crimson shades so often seen above but to softer hues of yellow.
This mountainside near Hazen's Notch is one of my favorite places, and I visit it each autumn when I return to Vermont. It's featured here as a true 2:1 panorama that, especially when printed large, shows off incredible detail. It's offered both as a print and on ready-to-hang aluminum.
