Montana's Glacier Lake, high in the Absaroka Wilderness, sits during a late-summer storm in the final moments of daylight. The Rocky Mountain twilight is brief, even during clear weather, and on this night I was so lost in photographing the lake that I didn't realize the day had entirely slipped away by the time I was finished. As I walked away, with lightning tearing the sky apart over hundreds of square miles of unbroken wilderness, I did so with the satisfied feeling of having captured a little of the world during a beautiful time.
This print is a panorama made up of 12 individual photos and is best printed in large format. I'm offering it here about as small as it can go, 16x29. If you would like it larger, please email me, as this has tons of resolution to go to billboard size. Literally.
The price for the framed print does not include shipping, which will be added to the sale.
