Lone Peak, above Big Sky, Montana, stands ready for first tracks shortly before sunrise on a frigid, winter morning. By hiking a couple of miles up the Porcupine Creek Drainage and shooting a stitched panorama at 300mm, I was able to capture the flow of tendril-like clouds rising above this iconic peak, rendering the scene in black and white for the perfect, deep-winter feel and fine-art look.
This image is a true 2:1 panorama offered infused into aluminum for a modern, frameless look, and also as a photographic print ready to frame. Both versions are signed, limited-edition runs with unique numbers and certificates of authenticity.
The mock-up, shown for scale, depicts this print on metal at 25x50".
