With colors bordering on the unbelievable, this ridge at the foot of Lowell Mountain stands in morning splendor while mist crawls away from the rising sun. A pair of geese, just taken flight from the cut corn in the foreground, feature prominently on the left side of this photo, while a larger flock parallels the ridge in the distance on the right, partially obscured by fog.
