Along the shores of Northern Vermont's Crystal Lake, fall mist rises silently into the October sky. I love these autumn scenes of brilliant leaves, wispy fog, and wavy reflections. For this shot, I waded chest-deep into the lake, to shoot back toward the shore of hardwoods. Vermont's glacial lakes are always cold, and at the height of fall have already seen skims of shoreline ice.
This is a quintessential Vermont photo, taken during the most splendid time of year. It's offered here the way it should be displayed, as a large 24x36 print and also on aluminum using a dye sublimation process for superb color and detail rendition as well as ease of cleaning.
