The Milky Way and Aurora fill the night sky over the entire span of the Bridger Mountains north of Bozeman, MT. For this shot, I wanted to get the whole length of this mountain range which meant setting up further from whatever a normally have in my foreground. It gives a wonderful sense of perspective -- large mountains against a truly immense galaxy.
