The aurora borealis, aka northern lights, dances in the sky over the Scandia Lutheran Church south of Malta, Montana on a clear, April night.
With cloud-like formations of lime-green and streaks of magenta higher above the horizon, this celestial display was wonderful to watch and lasted most of the night. While not terribly uncommon in Montana, I'm always thrilled by its appearance.
