Wildflowers fill a high basin in Montana's Crazy Mountain Range. Beyond a foreground overflowing with paintbrush and bluebells, evening clouds settle in at the end of a another summer day. I had the sense while shooting this scene that fall was already knocking on the door of this beautiful, secluded place, an uneasy feeling that summer was slipping away faster by the minute.
