At the height of this summer's wildflower bloom, I spent a few days in the Crazy Mountains fending off swarms of mosquitos while taking in a spectacular scene of blossoms. Toward sunset one evening a large thunderhead formed over this mountain north of Granite Lake and as the day drew to a close I watched it move through soft shades of pink.
