A train passes below the Crazy Mountains shortly after sunrise on a December morning, following a flock of geese flying high above.

I love this mountain range, particularly for the clouds that often form over the peaks. The high winds that commonly occur here, at the edge of Montana's plains, are apt to produce a beautiful, streaming scene overhead. The line of cottonwoods visible behind the train traces the path of the Yellowstone River between Livingston and Big Timber, Montana.

This is offered at 16x32 as a print and also on Pure Art Printer's aluminum, a great, frameless way to display high-quality photographic art.
