Wild lupines glow at sunset during summer in Wyoming's Big Horn Mountains. Each July, the alpine meadows of this mountain range explode with wildflowers during one of the largest blooms in America. It's a beautiful time of year and lasts just a few weeks. At this elevation, frost comes every month of the year and by September these openings are looking more like winter than summer.
